Information Technician

SUMMARY:

The I.T. Technician will be under the direct supervision of I.T. Manager. This position has the ultimate responsibility of maintaining all computer equipment, hardware, software, telecommunications, electronic equipment, copiers, and other office and operating equipment, as well as all other computer peripherals: The Information Technician is responsible to ensure stringent departmental compliance with the following: Federal & State labor laws; PWC policies & procedures; Tribal/State Gaming Compact; OST Ordinance 94-01 w/ amendments; OST Gaming Rules & Regulations; Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA); Title 31 Regulations; OST Internal Control Standards (TICS); PWC Employee Handbook; Department Policy & Procedure Manual.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pass an alcohol and drug test.
• Possess a valid S.D. Driver’s License.
• Apply for and obtain an OST Key Gaming License.
• Provide verifiable reference (s) from previous employer (s).
• Possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Computer Technology.
• Have at least one (1) year experience with computers and other office equipment.
• Must have at least one (1) year work experience in I.T. area.

• A+ certification preferred.
• Microsoft certified Professional preferred.

• Provide proper documentation if claiming Indian preference.
• DD-214 if claiming Veterans preference.
